Help Music player issues

I'm using the default music player on my fascinate. When I go into playlists, the music and artwork are there, but the list is not in order I created the playlist in. The song I selected to be last is now first... the whole list is backwards. I also checked the music by album, and they are backwards there too.

I have synced with doubletwist, and tried isyncr on a macbook pro. I cannot find a setting within the music app to change this. I thought maybe it would be fine once playing, but no, I have to select the back button to go to the next song. Anyone else notice this?

Also, is there somewhere in the app to delete the playlist? I can't find that either. Thanks for the input!

Wow, I thought I was the only one. I have the EXACT same issue.

DoubleTwist somehow reverses the order of my playlist tracks for the STOCK SAMSUNG player only. It is really frustrating. BTW, in the playlists view, if you hit the menu key there is a "delete" option, but I tried it and it doesn't work. The next sync puts the list back in reverse order again.

Oddly, all other music players, including Doubletwist's own player, and about 3 others I have downloaded and tried all list the playlists in the correct order. DoubleTwist only seemed to mess up the stock player. It's quite puzzling.

I really like the Samsung player though quite a bit, with it's notification bar presence, lock screen controls, etc. I just am at a complete loss as to how to fix it as well.

I have a different music player question. I downloaded a ringtone and for some reason, next to the tune in the music player it is displaying a picture of my daughter (as if she is the album art) and she is not the contact the ringtone is assigned to.

I have a strange feeling that any ringtone I download is going to show her picture next to it. Don't get me wrong, I love my daughter and all, but...

I can't seem to find a way to change the picture associated with the tune.
Help would be appreciated.

I am not sure, but it might be a good idea to start a separate thread on that one. A few of my album art pics are actually off too. This thread though is about a really specific and weird issue that is unrelated to album art.

I am having the same issue with the playlist on my Samsung Fascinate. I have tried Windows Media player and saved the list as an m3u list but still my playlist is sorted backwards. Has anybody found a solution yet?

Mine magically fixed itself. I have no explanation really. I am certain my issue was caused by using Doubletwist. I had no playlist issues prior to using Doubletwist. Then, after the first sync with Doubletwist, the stock music player (only) playlists reversed order, and other music apps were in the correct order.

Some time later the whole situation reversed itself and now the stock player has my playlists back in the correct order, and all other music player apps show them reversed. For me this is OK, because I use and like the stock player best anyway. Still, it's fairly bizarre ..

My problem is similar, but different. All of my albums list tracks in alphabetical order, not track order. The numbers are still in the files, just not being used for sort. Albums show up fine in the alternate player that I loaded, PowerAMP (which has a changeable setting built in), just not in the default player. I have pored over the phone looking for a setting for the default player. Anyone know how to fix?

I'd rather keep phone as clean as possible and use default apps, but I have to say that PowerAMP is awesome.

:thinking:Thanks.
