Sprint TV is the horrible...anyone recommend a TV app for the Evo?

Sprint TV just cuts out periodically when I'm driving, which I think has to do with switching between towers or something. It's never been a problem with my old phone, which would just lag for a few seconds before resuming, but the Evo quits the show entirely and I have to go back and start from the beginning. It's horrible! I haven't made it through a single show yet =P

Anyone know of a TV app that doesn't do this??

Thanks for nothing! =P
Yeah I don't WATCH it, I listen. My regular shows are Colbert, Jon Stewart and CBS's Nightline.
They're news programs (kinda) and often times it's better than listening to music, or to talk radio. Much more entertaining, IMO, but doesn't matter anyway because apparently there's not a better app or someone would have most likely posted it by now. =[
Yeah, my Dad's a cop, and he can beat up your brother, no problem! My cousin is also a cop. My brother is a prison guard. My Mom's retired.

Could be a bandwidth problem as well. So your tower theory may be correct. Right now I'm riding in a car and tethering. The 3G signal meter varies greatly from full bars to 1 bar. Obviously, your speeds are going to be affected because of this and video is far more sensitive because it requires more consistent bandwidth.
This! Because on the daily drive to and from work, it'd be at the same point of the trip that the video would cut out for a few seconds. Considering that I drive between two different cities, it makes sense that this point is simply a transitional one.
While my old phone would just lag for a few seconds before resuming the video, the Evo just BAM, cuts straight to an error message that makes it impossible to continue without reloading the show and watching it from the beginning.

It's all very flustering because my car has no stereo. After having it stolen twice, I've given up buying a new one and have been relying on my phone for driving entertainment. It kinda sucks that I just spent this much money on an Evo only to realize that my old phone was a much better fit in this regard!

Maybe Sprint tech support can help me with settings or something, but I was sure there'd have been another TV app to try, dangit. These slacking app programmers need to get with it! =D

What if you simply pause your show as you approach this known dead zone? If you pause the stream for a couple minutes, perhaps you wouldn't error out? Just a thought from a new guy who knows nothing.
Hah that's a dang good idea! I'm going to give that a shot...thanks loads Casber =]
I'm dang new myself...only having the phone for 5-6 days now (my first android), so kind of like a kid in a candy store...keep finding new stuff almost every day. Went from a Samsung Rant to an Evo, so still in absorbing fascination mode, myself =]
I bet you can relate. If you somehow stumble across a TV app during your exporing, let me know, would ya?
