Customize the Back of your Moto DROID's screen!

Here's the first DROID related product I've come up with...

It's a vinyl overlay for the back of your Droid's screen (viewable when the screen is slid open). Some of you have removed the OEM plastic sticker and are experiencing a looser keyboard...this will help without having to return your droid.

Some of you may want to personalize your Droid...so choose one of many distinct colors that we offer, color shown in the images is "Chrome" which is kind of Palm Pre style.

This overlay is the exact size of the OEM Plastic Sticker.

Gold overlay (close match to the Brown-Sugar accents on the Droid). The color "Copper" that we offer is an even closer match, unfortunately I didn't have any where I was taking the pics.

^ yeah, we do make tons of car related decals, but are trying to get into other avenues as well. I thought this one would a pretty cool idea, i'm going to offer one with the word "DROID" cut out of the overlay. It'd look pretty slick in red, or copper I think!

I've got a couple other ideas too... i'll post them up as soon as I have the time to design them!

I am assuming for the right price you could print almost anything on those. What about a droid eye? Would you be willing to do a custom job? Like if I were to send you a picture could you print it on it?

I love the idea. Seems like a pretty cool way to pimp the moto

^ they're priced inexpensive enough that I don't think it makes sense for a group buy, sorry about that.

As for the logo...we deal with die-cut vinyl, at this time we do not offer printing on the vinyl. We could do it, but it would involve overlaying vinyl in top of vinyl and may make it too thick where it would cause an issue opening the keyboard.

This would also be super cool if you copied the patterns from a Zagg pattern or other skin for the exterior. maybe even include a decal for the widest part of the phone which Zagg did not. In my very limited experience with the vinyl decals they stick with static and would not leave any residue. Just a thought. As far as the custom logo the outline of the logo could be cut out and logo inserted so that would not make it any thicker. No problems just solutions.

Vinyl decals are adhesive backed...however they do remove without leaving residue behind like paper-type stickers. What you are thinking of is Static-Cling material...that only sticks to things like glass and would not work for the Droid.

Likewise. I'm thinking the gold chrome or black carbon fiber.

Is the pricing any different for these vinyl colors? Its not outstandingly clear on the website.
