Help 2.2 messed up my phone

I updated my phone to 2.2 this morning and ever since it installed my phone has been useless, there is roughly a 15 second delay from when i touch the screen til when it recognizes it

any1 else having this problem?

No ive never been rooted but i guess it was just hung up on a final step or something even tho it said it was a success before this started but after like 15 restarts and letting it sit for awhile after each it figured it out and is working fine

give it time to propagate. Also, reboot a few times to see if that helps. DO NOT SBF FLASH.

Yeah, i was afraid of the same, that is why after update, i just hard reseted my phone, and re-installed all apps manually. Important thing is, before I signed in into my Google account, i disabled automatic restore. Now, all works like a charm!!

Exactly. 99.9% will have no issues. A few unfortunate users will.

The rest will be the vocal minority who rooted and installed various ROMs and didn't know the proper procedure to go back before the update, or messed something up along the way.

I had to reboot more than once to get things moving smoothly again - wait till after it gives the 'you have successfully' updated msg, which took me a few to get.

But yeah. Things were SLOOOOOW before a couple fresh reboots.

I don't have an explanation.

Edit: I do agree it'll be problem free for most everyone, and highly recommend getting it ASAP. I love the changes.

I grabbed the leaked 2.2 version 2.3.9.MB819 baseband BP_C_01.09.06P when it came out a few weeks ago.

Do i need to SBF back to stock 2.1 before I try to grab this new update? Will it even allow me to update over the air?

yes, you have to be on the factory 2.1 to install this update

I'd just wait till birdman or TBH packages up this OTA update in a zip format for us 2.2 leak users. May also be a good idea to wait until we find out if this new MBM and signature keys destroys all the progress that has been made on cracking the bootloader. It may turn out that only those with the 2.1 bootloader will be able to run full custom ROMS.
