Root Running Virtuous 2.7 and Facebook pics won't show up in Messaging

I just updated my ROM from Virtuous 2.6 to Virtuous 2.7. Ever since, my Facebook contact pics for almost all my people will not show up in the Messaging app, including my own pic. The pictures show up find under People (HTC's contacts), but won't show up in Messaging.

Any ideas?

I have the same issue but it has happened on every 2.2 Rom I have tried. I think it is a Froyo issue and not a custom Rom issue. I asked the same question a month ago in a rom thread and no one knew. So in the end .... I opted to use Handscent. The pics show correctly and its a nice customizable messaging app.

Same here, using Frankenrom. Maybe it's a custom Rom issue?

That's odd.. I have the same setup as you, started with Virtuous 2.6, upg to 2.7, and all my contact pics show up fine in messages and Handcent. Have you tried refreshing your Facebook contacts?

Menu settings, Accounts and sync, facebook for htc sense, sync contacts, check then uncheck.

I have the same issue with Virtuous. So I returned to Stock 2.2 rooted and the problem is still there. I don't think it's a custom ROM issue....?

Same problem I am having. After I upgraded to 2.7 it worked for a few days, then after a reboot it stoped.

My FB syncs atleast once a day but it didn't fix it.

Handscent worked fine....... Then I posted this...... now Handscent does't show the pics. I tempted fate and it bit me in the ass. Now I have Chomp SMS and the pics show. Lets see how long it lasts.

No luck. I am missing my pictures in not only messaging but everywhere on the phone, I don't have any for my people list either
