Hello there,

Well I am getting an EVO and I have been searching all around for thing about Cricket and the EVO flashing it. Some people report that it works others say the market or youtube doesn't some people report mms bugs? Can someone just give me a good answer!

Thanks you

I would like to know this as well

I'm about to find out as I just purchased a new EVO and will hopefully be flashing it to Cricket later this week. From what I've read on XDA forums, it's definitely been rooted, and there are several custom ROM's for it. The question will be does the u2nl/autostart fix work, and does MMS work. I believe talk/text/web have been verified to work.

I have my Evo on Cricket, with Talk/Text/Web working, including most market apps (some streaming audio/video apps don't work).

This is using the Droid Eris autostart/u2nl solution to work around Cricket's proxy server. (I also had to delete several Sprint profile entries using QPST and set the default profile to 0 in order to get 3G to function properly)

MMS does not work, and also there is an annoying Sprint "Data Call Failure" error code 98 message that pops up sporadically.

It is my understanding that FULLY working flash solutions are available as paid solutions (I've been asked to pay $150 to $200 for this solution). This may or may not appeal to you, but as I understand it the paid solutions involve a custom ROM and may or may not use a modified autostart/u2nl solution.
