I was wondering what ROM people are currently digging the most around here.

The IncDoes MIUI has promise (I haven't tested it, but it looks like a great splice between iOs and Android).

I have used CyanogenMod as my main ROM since 6.0 RC3 was released (now running 6.0.2). I was one of the people who could run 6.0 OC'ed at 1.15 ghz without any random reboots (RC3 was a nightmare, though). However, there are certain small issues that I really don't like about Cyanogen right now (still no LEDs, screen brightness sensor seems to be inconsistent) and I'm sort of itching for something new.

I have used Skyraider (used it up until Cyanogen was usable) as well extensively.

I'm using Cyanogen 6.0.2 right now, but mainly I've used Virtuous 2.0 and have liked it. I know others have upgraded to 2.6 or 2.7 but I actually like the youtube mobile site and so I stick with 2.0. I haven't seen anything to prompt me to upgrade higher and I'm not sure which update killed Youtube. I do know that Angry Birds crashed on my 2.7 custom kernel install so I went back to 2.0.
Anyway, with these custom ROMs there is still a lot of development being put into them and bugs being worked out. I've used Jaeger, SkyRaider, Virtuous, Cyanogen, and Ruby. My favorites are Virtuous and Cyanogen with SkyRaider coming close.

Tough question! There are some excellent options right now. That being said the best stable everyday ROMS where just about everything works and works well are SkyRaider (either flavor) and Virtuous. UncommonSense is almost there.

There are some others with great potential and could be an "everyday ROM" if your not picky about certain bugs. The fastest by far imo is the aosp Ruby, but also imo it's no where near an everyday stable option.

My favorite? I focus on stability 1st then speed. It changes every week, but of all I've tried I think skyraiders vanilla'esque is the snappiest most polished custom ROM out right now that's reliable. I do have a soft spot for rmk's virtuous (I'm on it this week) as it was my first rooted ROM. The tools/goodies he is putting out are awesome!

So what's your favorite so far?

Virtuous 2.6 right now. I need to update to 2.7. I love the sense ui and all other non-sense roms seem to be lacking something. The interface on non-sense roms doesn't seem as 'slick' or professional. Just boring and 'old'.

Even though opinions vary.................my sentiments exactly ! currently running Virtuous 2.6 with Kings-overclocked#4 and it simply rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My new favorite ROM is the MIUI ROM, which I like to call iDroid :D Check it out here, it's fricken sweet! lol..

Very interesting concept, it looks like my Inc and my I-phone went partying and humping and produced that......Quick question, what's the story with the chinese thingy, do I need to do chinese or that it's been taken care of ?
thank you !!! lol

I am on Shadow UNTIL we see a bugless ROM with the updated Sense from HTC :) (which looks siiiiiick)

I'm on Virtuous 2.7 (should be 3.0 soon now), but I am with you on the new Sense....that will be sick, slick and everything in between LOL!!!

Seriously though, Sense in landscape, the Sense web page interaction, fastboot....it goes on how great the new Sense will be, I can't wait!!! :D

The MIUI Rom is very stable and fast. I'm now using v2 as my every-day ROM :)

There are very few times when you run into Chinese text (Some in the settings menu). If you use LauncherPro, like I do, that's the only time you see Chinese. I am using this ROM for the new menus, color schemes, status bar, and icon scheme.

It does have its issues though; Internal memory isn't mounted correctly (being fixed soon though), and bluetooth doesn't work (idk about that, but I don't use BT that much). Other than that, this ROM is incredibly stable and my battery life is great so far.

Just comparing the size of the ROM, you can tell this is light, it's only 64MB compared to others that are 120+. One "complaint" about this ROM: Only 1 notification sound. It's easy enough to pull them from other ROMs though and just put them into sd/media, or root/media though. :) Good selection of wallpapers, and the camera is a nice change, although it doesn't have point-to-focus :(

I have been running Virtuous for the last day or so. Everything is great with the sole exception of battery life. Cyanogen, Ruby destroy Virtuous by a very large margin as far as battery life goes.

I might try the MIUI or revert to Cyanogen or Shadow. The former will require me to update HBOOT and my radio, both activities I'm quite wary of (running on radio 2.05 right now) because of the bricking potential.

I just successfully upgraded HBOOT, my Radio and installed this. It is an awesome ROM.

I also went ahead and installed adrynalyne's battery_aosp kernel over the KingX kernel that seems to be default.

On the KingX kernel with this rom, I was getting almost 1500 on Quadrant. Very nice.
