Help Annoying things

2. Weird dialing. There are times where the phone seems to just dial numbers itself. I reset the phone yesterday so maybe this cleared up this issue. Or maybe I'm just hitting things accidentally. I'm not sure but it's annoying.

Download 'Call Confirm.' Problem solved.

4. After silencing the phone (hold power button. Select "silent mode") it eventually becomes "unsilent" again. I could be accidentally doing this as well (no idea how but it's possible).

Download 'Buzzlock'

Or add the power control widget to one of your home screens. The widget allows for Wi-fi, blutooth, GPS, Sync, to be turned on and off easily, but finally allows the screen's brightness to be easily adjusted with one button press from the current brightness to full brightness. This makes the screen decently viewable outside with bright sunlight, to simple presses of the same button and your back to the screen setting you were at.

Seems like a lot of the HTC phones have sunlight issues. Not sure if it's because of the Gorilla Glass?

If you root and put Cyanogen's rom on, you can control exactly whats in the power control widget. You can have up to 8 things I believe. Wifi Hotspot, Data, etc etc.

No the Incredible does not have Gorilla Glass on it, that is unique to the iPhone and the Galaxy Line. I think it is a Samsung product, they provide a lot of the hardware to the iPhone.

Sorry my fault, I had looked it up online and found several references to it as one of the features. I hate telling folks the wrong info. Gorilla glass though is a product from Corning.
Gorilla Glass | Home

Good looks, they must have some tie with Samsung though or I feel like other people who have them.

Maybe this wouldnt have happened if the dinc had it...

Also, if you look closely you can see the Cyanogen Power Control widget with more options than the stock, this is what I was talking about.

Ya looking further seems to confirm that it is not G glass. Scary pic there, I am always catious with my Incredible (no Insurance).

Same :( Its sitting on the sleeve I used. Since then Ive had it repaired by PCD (the repair people for HTC for all CDMA phones) and bought the Seidio Innocase Active and BodyGuardz full phone protector.

Still no insurance though. To add insult to injury I kept it for until I found my Samsung Omnia and cut my ear and thumbs using the phone while the screen was shattered.

Note to self, to not put shattered class near skin

I've seen more of these "types" of threads started today than I have in a long time. What gives?

I did notice that too, a lot of Android "bashing" Incredible "bashing" Verizon "bashing" HTC "bashing" threads are popping up like crazy.

Maybe this is the 2nd wave of Incredible users that are getting this. The majority of the people on this forum got their phones in the initial launch batch period before they were sold out. And at the beginning those same type of threads were seen as troubleshooting a new phone versus a "bashing" thread.

I've had 2.2 and the phone long enough now that I've accumulated a list with more than 2 items. After using it a few months in the "real world" some of these things are really annoying.

I had the phone day 1 and 2.2 the day I could flash 2.2

My list has 0 items.

In the sun, brightness goes to max and i can see it. I admit its not perfect, but as long as the sun reflection isn't in the middle of my phone its fine.

I have zero issues also.. Yay for me, too.
I learned this thing inside and out.. Makes a difference.
