Help Music not working after 2.2??

After downloading 2.2 my music no longer works with the stock music player. When i try to play a song i get a text box saying that "sorry the player does not support this type of audio file. I tried taking all of my music off and putting it back on but its a no go. I have a mac and i am using double twist to put songs on and they are in MPEG audio format. Can someone help me out?!?!?!

thanks!

I am having a music problem as well. When I play music, it plays ok until I tilt the phone to horizontal, then put the phone vertical, the whole phone freezes up. Sometimes it shuts down. Sometimes I need to take the battery out. Music worked fine before the upgrade to 2.2. I tried recalibrating the compass. I called both Verizon and Motorola and they both said they never heard about this issue. They suggested I do a hard reset which I am reluctant to do as they can't guarantee that it will fix the problem.

Not sure what to do next.

Yeah, also when I hit play for a song...it chops a little at the very beginning. Boy, Verizon really screwed this one up

Running the 2.3.9 leak rooted, Im having problems with all media not playing. Was working fine then I noticed my ringer wasnt working when receiving a call. The ringer was a custom ringtone in mp3 format, checked my music player and was getting a media not supported. Youtube app, video player, rhapsody, nothing worked until I rebooted. A few hours later I noticed I had a couple missed calls, ringer wasnt working again and none of my media was working either. Again a reboot fixed it.

This particularly happens when you have first tried to charge the phone from the power outlet. The moment u pull out the USB cable during charing and try to play songs, it freezes saying "the format is not supported". But if you are charging the phone from your laptop/computer using USB cable and pull the cable out, it works fine. When the music file cannot be played, restart the phone (need not pull out the battery..just switch OFF and ON)
