Hey everyone! As I'm sure you've probably already noticed, this is my first post. There are so many Android forums out there but I chose these forums because they seem like the most active and most helpful.

I do have a problem that both Optus (Australian telco) and Samsung cannot provide a solution for, no matter how many times I call or how many new technicians I get through to. I'll outline the issue:

Basically what's occured is I can no longer access the App Market, GMail and any other Google application that requires a g-mail account for proper function. I no longer have access to the g-mail account that I used upon creation of the phone and there seems to be absolutely no way to change the primary e-mail so that I can access the apps that require a valid g-mail account. Any time I try to sign-in (with another g-mail account that I've recently created) or even create an account using the GMail set-up wizard, it does not work. At all. Ever (except for the very first time in which I created the account I no longer have access to).

Optus and Samsung have run me through a million steps, none of which have seemed to work. It got to the point where I tried one 'solution' over ten times, just to make the customer service agent at Optus content with my ability to function the phone (who I'm certain just didn't want to answer other calls). I'm praying that the only solution is not to factory reset the phone because it's apparantly impossible to access thre main memory where my messages are stored and I really can't afford to lose my messages.

If anyone has experienced anything similar to what I've described I would really like to hear what you tried to rectify the issue!

Thank you sooo much for any help in advance!

P.S. I'm also one of those unlucky ones that cannot use Samsung Kies, so if that is part of your solution then it more than likely won't work for me. :(

In Galaxy s how can I save received massages in another folder in phone.

Well, I'm not quite sure what it is both you and Msoud want to do, but if you both want to save SMS messages, then I suggest using the app called "SMS Backup & Restore".
I suggest you check it out in the Market and see if it does what you need to do.

Msoud, If you don't have access to the market with your phone, then perhaps you could access it and get the app with a desktop or laptop and then download it, then you could install (transfer) it on your phone with usb.

Don't know if this will do exactly what it is you're trying to do, but I'm just trying to help.

I like the SMS Backup app and use it fairly often and it works well for me. I hope it works for both of you as well.
