Help touchscreen problem!

For the past 2 day every so often my phone selects stuff on my phone without me touching it.
I have tried hard resets and also I set my phone back to factory default like it was right out the box. Still does it. Even tried to recalibrate screen.

Anyone else have or had this problem?
Also this is the only real problem I have had out of this phone.

Mine will do it if the screen gets any kind of sweat or anything from using it. Make sure the screen is really clean.

Im having the same problem. Sometimes I cant get passed the lock screen. Anyone know how to format the whole phone?

You can do a factory reset but you will lose your apps and contacts but those will be stored with google. Unless you stored some contacts on the phone itself.
Could also be a hardware issue.

best way to do a factory reset is to power off (make sure that fastboot is disabled, settings>apps>uncheck fastboot) then press and hold power+vol down. this will take you to the bootloader. select clear storage and this will do a factory reset. and like mikey said make sure that you backup accordingly.
