I've just bought an A60 i phone and am having a few problems.

1 How to install "security essentials".

2 When trying to log into some accounts the phone rejects the pin Nos I type in.

Hi I'm Andre from Namibia (Africa) and I've also bought an Apanda A60 from China. Absolutely awesome little phone running 1.6 but I would like to upgrade to 2.1 or 2.2. Its not a carrier phone so I wont' be getting upgrades from the service provider here. I haven't rooted my phone but it looks like thats the only way i'll be able to upgrade the os. I've checked out the Chinese website and even downloaded the firmware upgrades to 2.1 2.2 but the phone apparently needs to be rooted to install these.
The instructions to root it are totally confusing (Google translatefrom Chinese isnt very effective)and I don't want to screw up the phone since I have no backup service provider here. Can anyone help?
