lets get those pinouts!

a pinout is a chart of the connectors on your device. it helps you buy cables for one thing. Ie on the 3.5 plug (the one you are proably using for hedphones) you can use it for headphones, headphoine and mocrohpne, or audio/vdeio out. but ther eis no sandard for exampel for audio video out. the four possible connections on a four pole connector have been used differently by all makers. see the link which then has links to various pinouts of galaxies.

thanks friend, the first post mainly points to one I made in the general galaxy forums since I am certain they are the same pinouts. I will gather and check what is at xda and aks for addtional checking there, but we should have a post here at androidforums one here so people get the right cables for a/v, insure that car chargers where power demands from gps/nav will be the highest are not limited to 500 ma, and so we can also keep up to date on developments and cables for hdmi via usb.
