My phone is 100% stock and I just installed the most recent OTA update (incredible by the way).

Can I root my phone now or do I have to wait for the rooting tools to be updated for this most recent OTA update?

I am completely new to rooting and have no clue where to start.

Thanks.

Hmmm, which unrevoked did u used, 3 forever or 3.2 one simple click? I just wanted to make sure which is safe path to do so. lol

You should do unrevoked forever before you apply the OTA update. This will switch the radio to S-OFF just to be safe. Then you would run unrevoked 3.21 after the OTA.

If you have already applied the OTA update, then you can run unrevoked 3.21 to re-root.

Tom

Thank u for ur input however this answer isn't help to our question. I, repeat myself, we already applied the OTA without previous root. Not "re-root".
