Help phone not waking up from sleep and process manager error

ok this has been going on for a while but getting worse. I'm not sure what's causing it. My phone will go to sleep and won't wake up again through touch or buttons. Only way to get it going again is through removing my case, taking the back panel off, removing and reinstalling the battery. This sucks since those little tabs on the body glove case I'm using don't like being removed continuously.

When I boot the phone up I get a Sorry Process System is Not Responding.

The phone also brings back a notification from a few days ago that I've cleared countless times now.

Any way for me to find out what's causing this without removing every application I have installed?

Why does this keep bringing back an old notification or is that my carrier?

I'm on my second Acclaim that shuts off randomly and can only be restarted by pulling the battery. Customer Service at US Cellular claims I am the first to have this problem. But the US Cellular facebook page shows this is a common problem. I gave up and am just living with my phone. Sometimes the battle is just not worth it.

What kind of notification keeps popping up? Just curious, as I used to get voicemail notifications on my blackberry every time I cycled the power on it. I would also get them every time I left and came back into coverage.

Also, I know its a pain but removing some of those less used apps may be just what you need to do. I would imagine your phone didn't have these problems for the first days after it was brand new. Also, I would think uninstalling an app is far easier than replacing your phone. At least less time consuming.

Its only my observation, but there are some very poorly developed apps on the market and some of them seem to really sink their teeth into the android operating system. Poorly developed apps with zero thought put into resource management during development will kill any system.

Either way I hope you are able to find a solution to the problem. Good Luck!

I have had my Acclaim for all of 6 hours and it has shut down three times now. Any real fix on this issue or should I go back to US and get an old Data Line phone?

For me it only does it once every couple of days then it'll do it a lot then stop again. Also sometimes I'll get the same missed call notification or voice message for days even though I clear it.

As for removing the less used apps, the only way to diagnose it would be to return to factory stock then install an app I want, wait a few weeks to see if the problem returns than add the next app. My contract would be up before I could find the real problem. Not to say that one app could be interfering with another causing the issue.

I wish it would tell you what app is crashing or not responding. It would make life easier.

That being said I haven't seen the error message on reboot in probably a week now.
Maybe one of the updates I've installed fixed the issue
