Help MP3 for Ringtone...where? How?

Firstly, make sure you have Astro app on your phone (it's free).
Put your SD card in your card reader OR plug your phone into your PC as a disk only. Save whatever music you want to use as a ringtone into the folder sdcard/media/audio/ringtones on your phone.
Make sure your phone is unplugged from the PC and use Astro to locate this file (sdcard/media/audio/ringtones) and then press and hold on the music file you want to use until a menu appears.
Select the option "Music Options" from the menu and then set it as ringtone.
Hope this helps. :D

OK Michelle.
Sorry for my last confusing post.

1) Download & install an app from the market called "Astro".
2) Go to this web address on your PC.

MP3Cut_01 Duck Sauce - Barbara Streisand (Original Mix)09102010214352.mp3

and save this file to your PC.

3) Connect your phone to the PC with the USB cable that came with the phone.
Your phone will ask you select a connection type, select "Disk drive".

4) On your PC, right click the music file you downloaded at step 2 and then select "copy".

5) Go to "My Computer" and look for a new "removable disk" (mine came up as K). Double click the "removable disk", then double click "media", then "audio" and then "ringtones". Then right click somewhere in this window and select "paste"

6) Unplug your phone from the PC

7) On your phone, open the Astro app and select "SDcard", then "media", then "audio" and then "ringtones". You should then see the ringtone you have saved. Press and hold down on the music file until a new menu opens. Choose "Music Options" and the rest should be simple.

Enjoy your duck sauce! :D
