HTC G2 appearance wise look like the Nexus 2, but hardware it's a different beast.

i just saw this HSPA+ result from androidcentral and i cant believe....

T-mobile might have the worst coverage, but where i live, it's pretty damage good and comparable to Sprint 4G. But seeing this, it totally blew my mind away. Is it possible??

The G2 is supposed to have a 14.4Mbps cell connection. So that would be at the absolute top of the range. Seems unlikely unless you're standing under the cell tower in an HSPA+ coverage area. It might be a little bit of a gag. Maybe someone did the test on Wi-Fi then toggled it off for the pic.

same here......

Funny thing is, if you read Android Central no one believes that screen shot...imagine if I tried to make a case that I get faster speeds with my N1?

They'd MAC ban me for life. lol.

EDIT:

Alright, so I just used the SpeedTest.net app and it gave me a much more believable number.

Came out to 2,068 down and 1,323 up.

EDIT 2:

MobileSpeedTest.com measures speeds in kilobits, not kilobytes.

So my 19512 kilobits comes out to about 2400 kilobytes per second.
