Following suggestions on this forum I've downloaded the HTC_IME keyboard. It looks great, except for one problem. It's TINY!!! On my X10 the keyboard appears at the bottom left of the screen with lots of empty space to the right of it. It's so tiny that I can't read the "shift" characters on each key. Any ideas how to make it fit the screen like all the other keyboards do???? Thanks

Did you use the High Res version? Mine fills the screen....

Hey Mozzer, have a look on XDA for Gimpsta HTC_IME modded keyboard, he has his own website and you can pick your background, key and function key colours, key shape, font style, display pic in space bar... whatever you want.

Hay thanks I'll take a look. One thing I wanted to ask and it really is cosmetic so didn't think it worth starting a thread. When saving web site bookmarks to the home page. (adw) you get the stock bookmark symbol and a real small square of the website pic, if it has one. :)Can you display that so its the main symbol. Looks a bit same having 2 pages of the same squares. As I said I'm being really picky! Sorry :)

Oh yeah - just installed the HTC Keyboard - eventually

HOWEVER - i find the stock X10 to have better functionality

or is it just me

(waits for haters comments) yeah i know - we don't hate, we share the luurve baby
That's kind of what I thought at first as well, but as I got used to it I think the HTC has better functionality.

My favorites are being able to hit enter as Send for SMS and GTalkand also having the smileys available for email. :)

Hey Mozzer I've just been put on to a book mark app called Visual Bookmarks, have a look at the show us your home screen thread, skimmingstones gave me the instructions on how to last night but not had a chance to sort it out yet. Might be worth a look.

In the settings you can set the swype action from left to right to cycle between the numeric and qwerty versions. The numeric changes to qwerty automatically when you change to landscape. I am better at one thumb texting on the numeric so that's what I use mostly, but qwerty more accurate when inputting passwords etc. Oh another great little tip is that you can set your side hardware buttons to move the cursor back and forwards, great for spelling mistakes that you don't spot til you've typed another 5 words.

OK, I'm not yet rooted and I'm on the AT&T market. So how are you all doing this, when sideloading has been disabled? Or since your in Europe, the Sideloading has NOT been disabled, which I think is what is happening...

Darn AT&T, Grrrrrrrrr ;~(
gunny I used the Android Central Sideload Wonder Machine to install this. Here is a picture from the other thread.

OK - so who do i need to speak to (probably the most intelligent)

wanting to get some semi transparent (say 50-75%) buttons for the keyboard so that i can see my custom backgrounds in action - tried 100% and just doesn't work and now got about 100mb of saved keyboards in my pc from trying lol

NEVER MIND - FOUND IT!!

little section thats says "click here to create custom buttons"

damn eyes don't like to work after 11pm

Looking good Charlyee. Very smart. See now I am questioning my pink theme... might have to do something entirely different. Nah, sod it I'll just have another V&T (purely medicinal don't ya know;))
You really think so ? Thanks :) , I was maybe thinking black keys on blue would be neat.

Darn it, I wish at&t didn't make side loading so cumbersome. :(

Ofcourse "purely medicinal " ;)

PS: Got the "black"
