OK. This thing looks pretty nice, but essentially its the same phone with a snazzy swipe screen on the bottom.

Regardless, please have a look at the top left hand corner of this picture - the Gmail Icon with the 17 on it.

1. Does any of yours look like this on your Fascinate? Mine is a grey M.
2. There is a new Location icon from what I have.

Might this be an indicator that 2.2 is coming soon? - Could this be a preview of a new feature of TouchWiz next generation?

A chick pea is neither a chick, nor a pea. Discuss.

I got the grey M icon as well; its the default one for the notification bar for gmail.

And dang I havent even heard about this device, where have I been?

SAPS - I just looked at all the Galaxy S devices screenshots - and none of them have these 2 icons. I really am hoping that this is next gen stuff here...

This device almost looks launch ready as it has the Qualcomm , if VZW launches this with 2.2, it wont be far behind for us - officially or through alternative sources. The only thing is I dont see any TouchWiz widgets on the screen - even though the TW launch bar is below.

I like the idea of the second little screen, but it seems the main screen
is smaller then that of the FN. Over on boy genius, they have some
pictures of this next to the Droid 1, and it looks like it has the same
size main screen. I could be wrong, but it doesn't look like it's 4In.
Agreed. In fact it looks like the screen is a total of 4" if you count that bottom part. Its as if they merely layed a strip down to separate the two screens. Obviously they didnt. Clearly its 2 screens. Top screen looks like a 3.2" or maybe 3.5". Definitely smaller than the D1's 3.7"

Yup. At this point I will not do anything under 3.7in, after owning an Eris
at one point, it was just to small. Even my Ipod touch at 3.5in feels way
to small anymore.

Im not 100% certain, but i believe it has the 1ghz hummingbird. But i know the ram is 256mb. Im sure the internal memory isnt as high either.

This phone is targeted for "lower end users". So, they may have some tweaks on it that make it "cheaper".

I know it'll be marketed heavy for social networking.
BGR seems to think it has the same ram as SF . Although 256 makes more sense if they want to lower it down the hierarchy food chain. Then again they did put the hummingbird in there. And if they put the powervr540 in there thats not at all low end
