Help What are your wish list Updates for Evo 4G...

Not necessarily Evo Specific but there is a huge push to develop 4g apps right now..

Some of them are quite promising and would be fun or helpful for consumers others are shooting for business related apps..

Battery life would be a major plus and hope they do work on that some more.

I think apps will probably be more of what we see at this point, I can't really think of much more they need to do with the hardware at this point

as far as 4g apps go sprint should probably make 4g more reliable/widespread so people can actually get/keep connection before 4g apps take off..

It is the growing pains of any new network or technology.. In comparison to similar roll outs Clear is actually not doing a bad job..

As for you the consumer it sucks if you don't have 4g access or reliable coverage yet.. But that is unfortunately how new roll outs go..

Having a less than optimal network coverage should not impair a carrier from development its network and business model and making money to fuel the growth of the company which ultimately should benefit its subscriber base with improved coverage and new apps to use on it.

The more people begin to rely and use a service, will hopefully lead to a better product for you the consumer.

True they are doing a good job in the areas that already currently have 4g...everywhere around my neighborhood I get amazing reception even while driving...except in my house and my apartment...where i hardly get 1 bar if that and have to be right next to a window...so right now for outdoor use...4g apps would be awesome...good apps for tailgaters perhaps?...

The new sense would be a welcome update...hopefully they dont only give it to their new devices that aren't out yet...that would be a bummer...

and as far as apps go...i hope google makes an update to Talk to allow video chat as well...that or some kind of video chat app from skype or oovoo...something where the person on the other end doesn't need an evo...only a computer with a webcam

it depends...if its an app that you downloaded from the market you have the option of clicking automatically update..and it will automatically update as long as none of the permissions changed. As far as Sense or anything Sprint/HTC related...when an update comes out you will be prompted as they push the OTA update to your phone, and then you have the option of downloading/installing then...or If there is a new update that is being sent out OTA and you don't want to wait you could probably either come to this website to find a link to it or over at xda-developers...and of course if you're rooted, like i am, you could wait until whoever developed the ROM you are using updates their ROM and then you could flash that...
