Help Installed Galaxo and my phone is not recognized by PC anymore

Hello.

Yesterday, I installed Galaxo 1.6.3.4 on my Galaxy i7500. It was working fine until I tried to connect it to my PC today using the USB cable.

When I try to connect, I get:

USB Device not recognized
One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. [...]

I'm using Windows 7 x64, but I've also tried a 32bits XP. It doesn't work.

What should I do?

Did you do a Nandroid backup before installing Galaxo?
If you did, do a back up to see if does exist with the stocked ROM.

P.S: you can also do Nandroid back up for Galaxo before returning on stocked ROM.

I didn't do a backup before installing.
I did a backup now for Galaxo.

Is there a way to go back?

I am not sure, but a master reset might do it. Otherwise you'd have to Odin back the original firmware.

I'll try a master reset, but how can I use Odin if my PC doesn't recognize it?

Hmmm. Good point. Might want to hold off on the master reset. Maybe someone else can think of a simpler solution. Apparently my brain isn't firing on all cylinders this morning.

Try to delete drivers, remove NPS and maybe Android SDK (maybe do a registry check for errors on Windows7), and reinstall everything again.

P.S: do you still have NPS installed
P.S2: how did you do a installation of Galaxo 1.6.3.4 (with GalaxyUpdater or via adb)?

Try using a different computer. I have a laptop and I had a similar problem, it stopped recognizing the phone; it seems like my usb port got damaged and could no longer work as a usb2.0, thus not providing enough power to the device. I tried it in a different computer and it works, so that's how I know it is the laptop's usb port for sure.

I tried in a 32-bit XP too and it didn't work. I don't have NPS anymore. I tried to reinstall the drivers, but it didn't work.

I installed Galaxo via adb.

I'll try to reinstall drivers/nps/sdk again.

Any other suggestions?

Do you have Drakaz's Recovery? If you do, you could try doing a wipe, apply update.zip, restore gapps and try using the phone again, it could be that your installation got corrupted somehow.

I have Recovery 6.4. I tried this several times and it didn't fix.
