Hi there,

New to the forum but looks like it'll be a valuable source of info. I have an i5700 but I can't delete my e-mail from the phone (not gmail but normal e-mail client via SFR - I live in France). It doesn't happliy delete from the Inbox to the Trash, but will do it eventually.

However, i cannot get rid of it from the trash at all. I have it set up with my work e-mail so I can use it when I'm out, but, I can read every single one of them still despite deleting.

I have set it to delete when deleted from my server but makes no difference.

Is there something I am missing or is it a bug in the software?

I'm still running 1.5 as New PC Studio (downloaded from Samsung) had no idea my phone was connected via USB when I tried to upgrade to 2.1. It charged it from the PC but nothing else.

Would like to love the phone but struggling. Want to make it work as I want to keep away from Apple!!!

Thank you

Hello Wallas-

I have the very same problem with my Spica (running factory 1.5). Does any fellow humans have experienced it also? Please respond!

Thanks,
Tranny

Hey Tranny, Heh heh try using an app called "Enhanced Email" from the market ( a trial version is on the developers site)

When you set up multiple accounts , you can manage one to many email accounts with different notice setup, etc.

The best part is you can set it to "delete from server" when you delete your email from your phone.

Also, the app adds the "select all" and "delete all" feature that the stock email doesnt provide.
You can set up your gmail, live.com, dsl provider email, att.net, yahoo, yes, multiple accounts

Now... have you seen my cousin Phil (in transylvania?)
