Trident, thank you very much for your work with the velocity releases. I was mildly impressed with the ally after upgrading from win-mo, but when I found velocity and started customizing, I have fallen in love with this phone. I run velocity 0.3 with the OC Kernel and have had no problems thus far. I have noticed that when overclocking to 797mhz with overclockingwidget, the system becomes unstable and crashes. I now run at 730mhz and runs alot more smoothly. Thanks again trident for another great release, I am definitely looking forward to a velocity 0.4 and will also donate a few dollars when I get the chance and extra funds. Once again, keep up the good work Trident and the velocity dev. team.

EDIT: Question I forgot to ask, does this update support android 2.2 update or not??

IF YOU FLASHED THE VELOCITY 3 AND THE GNM TURBO 4 KERNEL AND THINGS ARE NOT WORKING:
Just reboot into recovery and clear Cache and Dalvik cache as per Drellisdee's instructions DO NOT WIPE DATA

I had velocity 3 running with the gnm turbo 4 kernel but there were many applications still in application management that were old so i looked over Tridents instructions again and he says to wipe the data before flashing velocity 3 so i did this, cleared cache and Dalvik cache and flashed velocity 3 and now i am stuck in an endless loop on the velocity loading screen. I can boot into recovery but i dont know what i need to do to be able to boot the phone.. any suggestions????

Try re-wipiing data/cache/dalvik cache and re-flashing velocity?

In recovery there is an USB option (cant remeber the exact words) on the main menu. You can use that to mount your sdcard to your PC and place the files on it.

seems to be doin the same thing.. looping at the velocity screen. it shows the velocity logo with the light going back and forth for about a minute then it stops, goes away and just starts the loop again.

Should i try to flash a stock rom or anything else?

ugh so being my stupid self i read up on flashing cause i already rooted my phone with Universal Androot and everytime i try and install velocity_0.3_release.zip it restarted the first time with the terminal and my computer installed some weird quickboot driver but now everytime I try it again i just get the android guy with the exclamation point but my phone still boots up to the non flashed OS

If you have a backup of your stock rom go ahead and restore back to that. You can then re-try the process or just stay on stock.

I was just looking at the code when wiping data and i dont think its supposed to say this...

-- Wiping data --
Formatting DATA:...
Formatting CACHE:...
Formatting SDEXT:...
E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2
(File exists)
Error mounting /sd-ext/
Skipping format...
Formatting SDCARD:/.android_secure...
Data wipre complete

Those lines in there with the error dont seem to be right. Any ideas what might be the problem?
