Root How do i run recovery? It doesnt do anything

I believe from there you hold the Volume 'up' key and press power. You can then select the .zip to apply.

Thanks, but in my post I already mentioned i did that, and described what it does after i select recovery....recovery is not a zip, Im referring to the recovery menu when you restart your phone into recovery.

I was referring to the point at which your phone was at the Red Triangle-Exclamation point screen - have you tried holding Volume 'up' and pressing power on this screen?

Sorry for the misunderstanding - your initial post is a bit unclear the order in which you perform your actions.

Sorry, yeah that was what I wasn't doing, I went back to the out dated thread on how to root and saw that I was suppose to hold vol key up and pwr on that screen as well, and now I saw your response.

I'm glad you figured it out - but it may be beneficial for future users to understand the circumstances and the fix for the issue. This helps in Google searches and keeps the redundant thread count down.
