Someone Convince Me!

just go to a store and play with the best high end phone they may have.. dont go for the low end phone, they will feel like poop next to an iphone IMHO...

if you dont mind having only icons in your home screen, then go for the iphone... i love widgets!!.. also the power of homescreen replacements is amazing, try launcher pro or sweeterhome and youll be amazed... beautiful widgets is a cool i candy to the home screen as well

now days most the important and relevant apps are have been ported to android, so i dont see apps been a big difference between iphone and android

Android seems to be functionally equivalent to the I-Phone at this point. The I-Phone's a little smoother, Android's more customizable. So, it comes down to networks, form factors, particular features and price. I went with Android because I was sick of AT&T horrible network, and because I wanted a physical keyboard. I'm kind of glad to be free of Apple too -- they seem to be getting too restrictive these days.

I don't want to be a fanboy :(

What advantages does Android have over iOS?
If you don't want to be a fanboy then figure our what your needs/wants are and how the options out there fit them. Don't rely on the preferences of others (i.e. posting a "convince me" thread). Advantages don't matter unless they're relevant specifically to you. For some, Android is a good fit. For others, the iPhone is a good fit. For others, yet another mobile OS is a best fit. One size does not fit all.
