So now Compcache is enabled by default, I think in 1.6 it was off by default because it was causing so many issues.

Has there been some tweaks to compcache? How are you folks out there liking compcache now or do you turn it off?

As I understand it, Liquid has made a lot of tweaks to the way compcache works and it seems to not be bogging down the way it was before. BUT, if you want to disable it, see here: Liquid Frozen Yogurt v1.71 (FRG83 Built From Source!!! Get It While Its HOT!!!) - Page 24 - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum.

I haven't noticed any slowdowns yet on my side, so I'll just leave it running for now and see how it works over time...

So far so good....

So far everything is blazing fast, no redraws, FCs, or reboots.

Been off charger for about 4 hours now. I've put in atleast 30 minutes of web browsing, 15 minutes of Gmail, 30 minutes of music streaming from bluetooth, sitting idle the rest of the time.

I'm still at 90% battery. This is not conclusive data yet, but its very impressive!

Is it possible to get battery percentages to show up in the revolution theme? I love that theme, but I really like having battery percentage dispalyed. I tried the option under liquid tweaks but it doesn't seem to work in that theme.

Any suggestions?

BTW, this is BY FAR the best ROM I've ever used. The speed is ridiculous, no problems at all so far, I'm blown away.

EDIT: Once again I am an idiot, it was displaying the percentage but it was the same color as the battery fill! Changed the color and its good to go!

More of a continuation of my other post about battery life as I still haven't had a whole lot to play with this, but it went a solid 24 hours (mostly stagnant, mind you) before I was down to 15%. It took another hour to get down to 5%, and that was with some playing. Like SoDroid said, this is not conclusive, but leaves a lot to be happy about.

My Bluetooth is not working with this ROM. Any ideas on how to fix this? This is my only issue with an otherwise great ROM. Thanks!

(Sorry for the repost. Realized I was in the wrong thread)

Bluetooth, including bluetooth voice dialing, has been working perfectly for me. What, exactly isn't working -- no bluetooth at all, it's not pairing or not connecting, or what?

My Droid doesn't pick up my headset at all. Not Pairing. It just scans and then comes up blank.

Okay, try this: if you have a previous pairing with that headset already in your Bluetooth settings (because it was restored by Google or TiBu), long-press on it and unpair it. Then set up your headset to pair again, and then Scan for devices on your Droid. It should then ask you to input the password and it should then pair and connect.

If that doesn't work, then I'll ask what I should have asked to begin with: did you wipe (factory reset) before installing the ROM?

Kongo, were you able to get your stock browser back? If not, please let me know and I'll make an update zip for you that will let you install just the browser.

I did get it back. I just reflashed the stock 1.71 nandroid I made (which, by the way, I had because I followed your instructions... thanks!) And reapplied the theme.

By the way, I'm running the Galaxy S theme, and this ROM is sweet. A marked improvement over 1.6. Thanks!

I wish I had Vibrate or Silent options of the volume rocker and the lock scree sliders. It's annoying that you can't have both options. I don't understand it. I know it's not a Liquid thing (it's a Froyo thing), but I miss that option.

David.

So far things seem good, i was on 1.5 and it worked ok, but after reading girlslovedroid post on how to install a rom his/her way, everything feels smoother, working very swift and fast. This time i loaded up a 1gig kernal, my phone is notorious for running higher kernals, i may move up, my linpack is 13.55 and quad is only 1250s, i have had much higher in the past, mid 18s in linpack and 17's in quad on original kangerade and i think ss4.5, not sure whats the major changes but honestly it feels just as fast or faster, just lower scores. My question is for launcher pro which came with the rom, how do i change the launcher icon, i see lp icons come up in the gallery, im running watermarked theme and have always loved it, but my lp looks cheezzy, wanna snazz it up a bit, does not appear themed.

Another bug found:

When adding a contact, say, by long pressing a phone number on your call log and selecting "add to contacts" from the list, it goes to the contacts list like normal, but the top section that supposed to read "create new contact" is just a big area with no text, bigger than normal.

i'm on the galaxy s theme, so it may be a theme thing, but just thought i'd let you know.

Any way to bring back quickoffice?

I tried to upload an update zip I made for you to install just Sholes Quick Office, but I keep getting a database error when I try to upload. PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send it to you.

UPDATE: Nevermind, I uploaded it to GoogleDocs and you can download it from this link: https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B4...k3ODktNzJiNDljN2VmZDY2&hl=en&authkey=CMbuxPEJ.
Just reboot into recovery and flash this like a theme (no wiping).
