Accessories Basic HTC Evo desk phone stand

I've done some searching online (and on this forum) and as of yet I really haven't found a basic phone stand that will work well with my HTC Evo. From a functionality stand point I just want a stand that I can place my phone in on my desk to give it support as I use it throughout my day to make calls. Something that obviously holds the phone vertically while I dial out. The kick stand only really works if the phone is horizontal and the phone screen doesn't switch from a vertical to horizontal view...

Basically something like this...

Amazon.com: elago M2 Stand/Dock For iPhone 4/1G/3G/3GS (Black) Angled Support for Easy Video Calling: Cell Phones & Service

That will hold the larger / wider HTC Evo.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the responses.

My main concern is that the HTC EVO is 4.8" x 2.6" x .5" with a weight of 6 ounces... you add in my silicon case which is another 1.4 ounces and adds another .1" around the edges and it's simply too big / heavy / wide (depthwise) for this stand which is made for the 4.5" x 2.31" x .37" with a weight of 4.8 ounces.

With the cover my phone is .7" thick and weighs 7.4 ounces...

Since the HTC EVO is relatively new do you think it may just be worth it to wait for something like this to come out for the EVO? Is there a good place to check in with while I do wait to see if something has come out?

I don't think Evo will ever have a wide choice of desk stands. That's the downside to the integrated kickstand. I use the kickstand when on my desk or any tabletop or counter surface. If I was a stand maker, I'd think twice before doing anything for the Evo.

iPhone gets more accessories because there are more potential iPhone buyers.

Too bad no makers approached HTC to get exclusives on accessory lines. That would have been the best solution.

I use the Original Moto DROID Desktop Dock from Verizon. They sell it for $20, it includes an OE Moto charger/USB Cable (Micro USB 800ma). If you want a car charger, they also have the a bundle for $30.

The bundle includes the Dock, the car charger and the window mount. Obviously, the window mount wont work for us.

Do you have a case on there as well? I have a silicone case on my Evo and I am wondering if it has to be removed to fit on the charger?
