Root Can't install roms

I've rooted my EVO using unrEVOked 3 and I've installed ROM Manager but I can't install any of the roms. I also tried to flash cyanogen by putting the zip on the sd card and when I try to load it, it says installation aborted then give a bunch of other stuff. This happens also when I try installing a rom from ROM Manager. Any thoughts?

With unrevoked you've got the 0.93 bootloader and as far as I know CM6 is the only ROM that needs 0.76. You can change it ENG bootloader (0.76 needed for CM6) extended fastboot commands. - xda-developers
but I'd recommend reading all of that thread as it may cause you problems. I've never downloaded any of the ROMs thru RM. Try downloading the zip to your PC and transfer it to your SD card and flashing as you did CM6. Baked Snack & Fresh are pretty trouble free to start with.

ETA or if you don't want Sense try Virusroms Airborne RC2B2.

Just to add this, I had done this in the past on my device and it worked without a hitch....Had done the same thing on my friends device and it wouldn't work at all. I couldn't load any Rom after flashing to that hboot.

So just know some devices are okay with it and some aren't so be prepared to go back to the original hboot if it doesn't work out....

The tread shows this is for unrevoked forever, is this the same for unrevoked 3? Wasn't sure if 3 was just an update or a whole different animal.
