Help 3G widget

If it was on your Homescreen and you haven't uninstalled it, it should still be on your phone. Long press the screen and add either a Widget or an Application, and look for it in the lists. It will be a switch/toggle for 3G or 3G/2G, or something like that.

yes its a switch, ive chcked the widget and app section and cant see anything relevant, ill check teh market to see if a name rings a bell

Cant you just hold down the power button and turn it on/off from that menu?


i didnt even know i could do that, i had a widget on my homescreen that turned 3g on and off but i cant remember the actual name of it, ive tried searching through the market and i cant even find the missing widget

and ive gone and done the same again to another widget i had on the screen thats now disappeared,

I am guessing you are using Sense so its probably +>Widget>Settings>Mobile Network you are looking for.

Am I right?

yes its sense,

long press>add widget> settings>tthere is an arrow at the side of the settings widget which brings a drop down list they are all in there

sorry but what do i long press on? do you mean long press on the screen then if so theres nothing there thats relevant

long press on a blank part of your homepage. then select widgets, then to the right of the settings option there is an arrow, click that and select the option you want a shortcut for. done.

the row of icons in the top half of this picture here are simlar widgets im after

Whats the name of the widget .... tht when you press it it turns your 3g on, its got a small picture of a globe on the widget...

I've just added it - it's in widgets >> settings >> mobile networks (looks like a blue globe with a 'triangle of string' wrapped around it :)

Lovin my newHTC Desire!!! Just got it yesterday and have spent today on the forum (via PC tho!!) working out all the power-saves and download-blockers - much obliged to forum chatters for tips! :D
