Hi, I recently rooted my galaxy apollo..I want to over clock my CPU to about 800MHz.. I came across 2 applications for that, setCPU and Overclock Widget.. both of them could not get me beyond my stock CPU speed that is 667MHz..
In setCPU I do not know how to get it, but in Overclock widget I went to advanced settings> 'check' use your frequencies> click here to define> and added 720, 760 and 800..then went back and under 'Screen On Freq Settings' set 740 to be max and 380 to be minimum..but when I go back to the widget and set it there again it says 'set new clock successfully' but the widget says 667 only can you tell me is my CPU been overclocked by this or not? cuz when I ran the CPU benchmark application it says 667 MHz and 2840ms (which is same as earlier I think)
So can anybody please tell me any other way to overclock or a correct way to use these apps?
plz reply, thanks
