Root Cracked Screen, Need to Unroot

So I cracked my screen and just need to know how to go back to the stock rom and unroot so if Verizon agreed to replace the phone they won't know I tried to mess with it root-wise. If anyone has done this before please post your experiences. My friend cracked his screen twice and had a rooted phone and had it replaced twice, so I know it can be done. Thanks.

Easiest thing to do is follow the 2 How To:s on this list. One will help you install Stock ROM and has the files you need to install and the other will help you install the stock Recovery and also has the files you will need. It's not too bad. Read the threads through entirely so you see what others ran into - it will save you some time.

as long as vyour phone can connect to adb anything is possible.

FYI, if you cracked your screen, then Asurion shouldn't care that you rooted your phone.

I just did this procedure here (How to Unroot Galaxy Nexus [Verizon/Sprint] [CDMA] [Mac] - YouTube) and it brought me back to unrooted, locked, and stock 4.0.4 ICS without any hiccups. On the phone with VZW to get it replaced now. Wondering if I should just bite the bullet and upgrade to the S3 since it would only cost me $100.

Get a gingerbreak and unroot it worked for me
