none of the things mentioned are "the next big thing", they are all just slow evolution.
Big things would be using as a PC replacement with built in laser keyboards and projectors. Or data contracts and very compressable codec's to use the phone as a regular mini TV etc.
Ok, you can do video now, but it's difficult. Re-code takes ages, wipe out your data allowance in one movie etc. etc.
But new Galaxy's, CES announcements are all slow evolution. Even gingerbread is not a "Big Thing", sure it will be nice. but it will offer nothing new to speak of.
I've been able to have databases, lists, web accesss, email etc. on my phone for years......
good question though, what really will be big next?
