I haven't tried it, but it looks promising. Moto D1 and D2 are NOT on the incompatibility list.

It's also on lifehacker - SuperOneClick Roots Virtually Every Android Phone Out There

This program looks to be recent as of 10/9 - I didn't look at all of the instructions as I don't need it right now.

i tried this on my dell streak 5 withno luck tried it 2 times and it gets to waiting on device and just sits there doing nothing i let it sit 15 minutes thought maybe that would help but no luck,anybody have any ideas?i followed the video on the link exactly so i dont know,maybe its an at&t program stopping it? thanks to anybody and everybody! oh and i used the new version 1.9 if that makes any difference

ive tried using superoneclick to root my x8 phone but the program doesnt respond. we are using windows 7 and ive already downloaded the .net frame 2.0 but it didnt work. what could be the problem? please help me..
