Help Using the X with HTC Inc charger...couple of "new guy" questions

Soon to be new X owner, Android user from the beginning since launch of original G1. My 3 Droid X's on are on the way after I convinced VZW to switch out my Incredibles after a bunch of issues. 1 of the Incredibles was just ordered a couple weeks ago as an added line so that X will be brand new with everything. The other 2 will be refurbs, but they are sending extended batteries and backs with them because that's all they had in stock so that's a plus. They really didn't want to give me anything but replacement INC's so I'm ok with not getting new phones. I know the X has some recent issues with the 2.2 upgrade, but hoping for better luck than my Incredibles...surely at least the battery life will be better. Searched, but still not 100% on a couple things:

They're sending no phone chargers, but I know the INC micro usb will work. Is there any real downside to not using the Moto charger?

From what I read, the Extended battery isn't a problem fitting with the high gloss silicone covers and some people said it's fine with other cases. Saw conflicting things about the ext battery fitting the hard black holster/case combo from Verizon?

How is the integration with Facebook using blur? Sense's integration is quite good but uses a lot of battery.

Really looking forward to getting the X, the more I read and see about it, the better it looks. Open to any other suggestions you have as new user (already been told to download beautiful widgets to avoid having Sense UI withdrawal). I thought the size would be an issue but I hope I'll just end up feeling like the INC size is too small:D

1.) using the inc charger is fine. i've used all different chargers on my phone, and they all work just fine.

2.) the extended battery back isnt too terribly different, so most, if not all cases should fit just fine. i use the extended battery, and i use the stock back. it's a snug fit, but i didnt like the other back sticking out a couple mm, so i use the stock back. been using it for a couple months now, and using the stock back is just fine.

facebook and blur seem to be just fine. some love blur, some hate it. it doesnt do much for me, so i dont use it. using facebook with blur certainly wont help your battery, so i would just suggest seeing which works best for you.

welcome to the dx. i think you will be very happy.

just out of curiosity, what problems did you have with the inc (other than the horrid battery life)?

Thanks for the thorough response. With the Inc, don't get me started lol. Basically a lot of annoying things that would randomly happen and ultimately couldn't be diagnosed or only "fixed" with a factory reset. I recently posted a thread in the INC forums about my experience and got kinda flamed because I wanted to share my experience and it wasn't the greatest.

As long as the INC charging plug port (transformer) puts out 5-5.1 volts and 800-1000 mAh there should be no problem at all. The less mAh the longer it will take to charge your phone but nothing crazy long. I don't think you would see a HUGE difference in time vs a moto brand charger...

I personally miss, miss, miss sense! I loved all the easy intergration, not that blur is far behind, sense has been out longer so it has had more time to mature... The X's big screen though makes up for everything!

I would not recommend using the stock back with the extended battery. It's not a good idea to put pressure on these tiny electronics for long periods of time, and simple physics dictates that it will increase your chances of breaking something if you bang the phone as well.

I read a little about this and was planning to use the ext battery with the back for it to avoid any pressure to the screen. That's why I wanted to make sure the cases would still fit ok which it sounds like they will.
