Wife getting DX, company paying. What should she get with it?

Hello friends, Dinc user here. My wife is getting an X tomorrow. Her company pays for her phone so she can get anything she wants, including accessories, an upgraded battery, whatever. Since price is no object, what from the Verizon store should she get with the phone. Is there a bettery battery, a specific case, cable, bundle, etc, that is particularly good or bad? I searched the forum a bit but am having trouble getting a clear answer. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

Might as well get the extended battery, hdmi cable, and maybe the holster/shell combo case. It gives you good protection while in the holster and is thin enough when out of the holster to not be bulky. Does it have to be from the Verizon store? There are other nice cases out there that you can't get through the verizon store.

Depending on her credit I'd purchase (in this order):
1. Extended Battery
2. CarDock
3. Desktop Cradle

Screw the HDMI cable and Cases, those can be had online for much, MUCH cheaper (search the Accessories thread).

If you want a durable case that won't slide around on your seat while driving or slide off you lap the body glove is a good case, its bigger than the silicone cases but its still only about as thick with the case as most other phones without cases. Definitely get the extended charger cable, the standard one is about 3 ft and extended is about 6 ft

Also, there are two types of screen protectors 1. Crystal clear and 2. Anti smudge. The anti smudge definitely help with smudges at the cost of some screen clari, but are not completely smudge proof either.

Car docks and home docks are very nice to have and if they are free they are even better! Get everything.

Will she be able to have the company buy accessories at a later date? If so I wouldn't get the extended battery right away just cause it's a little bigger and the standard battery is already awesome. But if it's freeee...
Definitely get the car dock, longer charger, and a case/screen protector if she wants one.

Nobody's mentioned it, but she should get some Advil along with her DX....just kidding with you, lol.

Some people have already mentioned it but the Extended battery and Launcher Pro are a good start; I also recommend WidgetLocker.

To give an answer that you're looking for (although my other one was dead serious, not trolling), the extended battery is a must. I got one around a month ago and it made a big difference. The body glove case still fit just fine as well which is another must. Finally, I bought a 3.5 foot micro usb to usb cable to use in the car for charging. The standard car charger cable isn't long enough to allow you to hold the phone to your ear while connected.

Since it sounds like it is for business purposes, as mine is, I'd recommend Touchdown app for corporate Exchange Email and Quickoffice (although I think that now is a standard package). I found Pure Calendar Widget is good for integrating with Touchdown and Folder Organizer is a great way to create a shortcut folder on your screen for direct call and text icons.

Case/possible holster (if shes into that) I've heard the bodyglove one is nice, I have a Verizon brand.

Screen protector, Verizon has a non-scratch/non-glare which works great, only draw back is the screen isn't as "pretty" with it on, but no glare/small scratches.

I think the HDMI cable comes with the home dock, get that -

Car dock - get that

Extended battery - get that

Longer cables (if in stock) - get that

Basically tell the customer service rep money isn't an object and they'll do the rest.

OH: I've seen a lot of adds outside of VW stores stating get one droid ANY other phone free, see what that's all about - heck you could get another droid X / droid 2 / torch / Dinc. Not sure if that's regional or not but all over the southeast

The free phone has to be a new line or upgrade to the same account, and I'm sure if her work is paying its the work account and they couldn't add another line. I tried to do the b1g1 with a friend but we had separate accounts

Troll? Really? Because I've had substantial problems with my DroidX and wish to post about them? As opposed to ignoring the problems and calling people names that don't agree with you? I guess that must make you a dumb ass then doesn't it? I'll also bet you wouldn't call me a name face to face.

So since you have never had to do a battery pull, that means what? Are you really so stupid to believe that is the same for everyone? Ever heard of having a sample size large enough to be statistically significant? Well that is a rhetorical question, of course you haven't, that would require an average level of intelligence.

"the back slides down very easily and then you left." WTF does that mean? Is English your second language? Perhaps the screwdriver is used to separate my Body Glove case in that slot in the bottom. Perhaps I've had to pull the battery out so many times the tab disconnected. Perhaps the case is made of similar quality as the phone software/firmware therefore requiring extra effort to slide open the battery cover. How would you know, according to your own statement, you've never pulled the battery?
