Help Captivate not supported on GetJar.com to download Angry Birds?

I also went to that site and if you go to the list of eligible phones the Captivate is not listed. I selected Fasinate and entered my phone number to receive a text of the download but when I received the text and went to the site it said that our carrier is not a supported one with getjar. There are some people on the facebook page that have posted a link to the .apk file, but I don't have my phone rooted so I can't install the .apk.

Why they didn't just put it on the market is beyond me?

Search twitter for the apk file if the link does not work above. The carrier (AT&T) does not allow sideloading. So, if you did not root/sideload enable your captivate, you won't be able to install it even if you can down load the apk file to your phone. This is why getjar does not support it. You can just tell getjar you have the Fascinate or the HTC EVO or other similar android model. Then download the apk file to your PC, not from your phone.

There is a program called wonder side loading program that will let you push the file from your PC to your phone via USB if you don't want to root/sideload enable your phone.

It's not supposed to be on the market until after 24 hours after being on getjar.

There's obviously more to it than just sideloading problems...you can select ANY android device as your phone and they want to text you the download link. Then it tells you that your phone is unable download Angry Birds or ANY app.

Why does Getjar want to check my phone number/carrier before letting me download. I believe this actually qualifies as a crock! Getjar is a SELL-OUT!

Anyone else have a link that isn't bogged down?
