Well, your chance disappeared anyway. When I saw the opportunity, I took it at $79.99. No contract extension. No discounts credited against your account (which means if you're eligible for renewal with $150 discount, that still exists). The next day, the refurbished phones were sold out.
The phone came in a Sprint "Certified pre-owned" box with all original accessories, except for a micro SD card and a printed manual. Mine has a very tiny dent on the topside speaker grille, but otherwise looks and feels brand new.
It is running Android 2.1, s/w version 2.31.651.6. I upgraded to .7 OTA, with no problems.
They might have more refurbs later on... just keep an eye out. I wouldn't buy it for $149.99, which is what Sprint is charging yet again on their website. You'd figure if this was a total sunset product that they'd leave it up at the $79.99 discounted price.
