Fully charging 3500mah battery in phone

Mine always charges much better in an external charger. That being said, I find it much more convenient to just plug it in at night rather than shutting down and pulling the battery. Where I work I have a very low signal (50-55% time without signal) and I find the initial charge on my battery makes an insignificant difference.

So let me get this straight Styx. What your saying is when phone is not in use battery says good but when you use phone battery goes down quick......hummmmm....don't sound good and if battery is over heating that can't be good eather.....ROT...ROW SHAGGY...looks like we shouldn't buy these batteries even for 2 SCOOBY SNACKS

i have 3500 battery from china and after charging it drops from 100% to 99% and then it goes really fast down,,,when phone sleeps battery is ok dont even use much but when i cut on back phone goes down much faster!

Interesting. You might need to wipe battery stats...

I had this sort of thing happen after wiping my Dalvik cache using clockwork recovery. The only solution was to unroot the phone and re-root it. However I don't have an extended battery.

Far from the truth!!!! I LOVE my 3000mah ebay battery and can go over 24 hours with heavy use. Had mine for about a month now and I couldnt be happier. The ebay battery door looks much much better than the Seidio door too

i wouldn't necessarily say "far from the truth" as it is known that these batteries do not go through quality control. So while yours may be a good one, there are plenty which are of poor quality. Also, FYI... all 3500mah extended batteries come from the SAME manufacturer in China, this includes even the brand names like Seido. The only difference is that the brand names do a QC check on every battery to ensure that none of theirs are faulty. There is a thread out there somewheres that explains this as well.

ps- still waiting on 2 "chinese" 3500mah to get here, will post how they perform.

I ordered one, 3500 with door, from ebay, NY distributor, for $10.42 including shipping. I figured what the heck, just a shot. Got it in 3 days, fully charged upon receipt. Have been using it since, about a week now, and am pleasantly surprised, so much that I ordered another. Full day use, down to about 30% after entire day - 6:00 a.m - 10:00 p.m.

I bought a 3500 w/ a door from a distributor somewhere in the usa, I can't remember where exactly offhand. Anyway, I've let this thing charge up all day long when I got it before I used it, have drained the power to 0, and charged it again. no matter what I do the total time in this battery still is less than the stock battery. Maybe I just bought a bad one? But I'm not pleased.

I am sorry but you bought a crappy battery. I got two from amazon that last as long as my stock battery. Just to clearify the batteries are 1750 not the 3000.

whose batteries? yours or mine? Yes I gather mine is a crappy battery. I let it charge all night and unplugged it at 7. I went to civil procedure and then torts, and at 12:10 the battery had less than 5% left, and I hadn't really used it except to check a couple email messages. I just bought a bad one I guess.

At the bare min you should be getting stock performance or better . I think you have been sold a dud . You can either contact the seller and get you another or just buy you another ebay batter your choice . I went with Seidio only for their customer service and warranty . Not saying those are the same options or choices for you . But from what you have said about your battery something isnt right .

I import/export merchendise from China and i can pretty much guarantee you that ALL the extended batteries are not made by the same manufacturer. There are many companies in China that make cell phone batteries and for competition sake, im sure different companies make the same batteries.

That being said, i bought a battery off ebay that was made in china, and while i havent tried to do a real comparision with my stock battery, they seem about the same. The ebay one may last a little longer. I plan on doing a test soon and ill let you know.
