where does X10 measure up to others?

So how does the X10 measure up? I know the Iphone 4 has killer resolution. and its 4g. but where would the x10 stand in the rankings against all smart phones? i seen afew top 10s and i dont see it on there. is it a top 15 phone??

also what makes the Iphone 'better'?? mostly marketing?

Since when was the iPhone 4g ??

or is that just in the states ??

I think the X10 should be in top 15/20 simply because of its screen, ease of use and design - forget the OS fragmentation and its an ace handset - rather have it than iPhone

they call iphone 4g ,, cause its 4 generation phone,, just corporate marketing. the x10 could have easily been a top5 phone,, but it wont be,,Sony just seems to have that ability to do that to good hardware,,

Apple clearly stated they would not call it the 4G to avoid confusion between itself the iPhone 4 and the 4G networks cropping up all round the world - as such their corporate marketing has NEVER referred to it as the iPhone 4G

Hence the name advertised everywhere - iPhone 4

When the Iphone 4 was released, alot of people were buying it thinking it was 4G. But the main reason for this was because alot of people were spreading rumours that it was 4G. Things like this happens with many phones, which then causes massive debates

I must admit, I used to buy 3G phones when I was a young teen because they could do video calls, but I never made any video calls, I just bought them because they had the ability to make video calls

I'm a PC and Windows 36 is my Idea (so remember to tell your kids to tell their kids to tell there kids [and so on], that when it gets released, think of me) Next it'll be "I'm a PC and Windows 36 was CuBz's Idea"

Anyway, enough of my crap "humour"...

Those adverts really grind my gears, about 10 different tv ads all ending in "I'm a PC and Windows 7 was my idea" sends me nuts I wouldn't mind, but it wasn't their idea.

Hoenstly, if the Xperia
had at least 2.0(i'd be content)
and had an optimized mediascape/timescape
and At & t had not restricted the sideloading of apps

its just that bland screen that doesnt allow its full sexiness to shine thru!

I like the x10 but its boring now and the lack of customizing it unless you use other apps is simply annoying, plus I want 2.1 update as angry birds only seems to work with 2.1 or higher grrrrrr

How do you think owners of other brands customize their phones?, and if you know how to pull and edit apks you can do it yourself.

For my son's birthday i got him an iPod

My daughter - she wanted an iPhone

Myself - well i treated myself to the iPad

Well they did state...

...and I thought the term "dummyphone" is what's used to described none smart phones.

On a side note... that really is no way to treat a new user (or anyone user for that matter), please make sure that it doesn't happen again.

Sorry for making suggestions! They took unbrage with first one, evident by the quoted response above, so suggested in a more direct way that perhaps a smartphone wasn't for them.

And btw, I'm actually newer than they are.
