The Sea of Tranquility
I'm a long time user of LauncherPro on the Moment and though Sense is fine, I'd like to go back. The one thing I'm missing is some sort of widget or shortcut to toggle 4G on my Evo. I've searched the market and frankly, I'm not paying a buck for a simple widget. It might be worth a quarter to me, but not a dollar. Ideally, I'd love something like the notification setup from the Epics touch wiz which would be worth some $$$ to me. Anyone know a free or cheap alternative?

Since I don't switch on my 4G too often, I actually use BarControl (free app). It's an app that allows you to add shortcuts to your top toolbar.

I just added the 4G shortcut to my top dropdown toolbar. It's an extra step because it just takes you to the 4G settings window, but it works for me, so I'm throwing it out there in case you want to give it a shot.

MoreIconsWidget has a 4g system toggle and everyone should get this app. It places 4 apps/shortcuts/toggles in the space 1x1 widget normally takes on the 4x4 screen.

Alternatively, you could use Tasker to make a widget to do this.

Alternatively, you could download the 4G toggle from this xda thread: [APP] 4G Toggle Widget v1.2 (6/18) - w/Sense disabled + SOURCE - xda-developers

But you should still get moreiconswidget.

Are you talking about MultIcon Widget? I don't see a MoreIcons Widget in Appbrain or the Market.

If you are running anythin like folder organizer you could make a shortcut to the 4g settings...even give it a custom icon. So many are having issues with the switchpro and stock toggle

No problems with switchpro at all over here. It works perfect on my Evo and I don't regret the 99 cents and I work for minimum. Definitely worth it to anyone without Sense.

I would buy switch pro but I already bought beautiful widgets and according to them they are working on a 4g widget...but i was told that on september 6th...so its been a good while...i wonder what is taking so long

edit: is there something different about a 4g widget that is not allowing people to make it? B/c ive seen many free wifi widgets on the market but hardly any 4g widgets paid or free...any answers to this?

Glad it is working for you. There are several in help and troubleshooting having issues with it not actually turning 4g off

Why dont you guys use the stock HTC sense 4G widget? whats the difference?

Like posted above. Most htc widgets are not available when using an alternative launcher

I use Bettercut but anycut 2 is out and it is free. Give it a shot.
