suddenly my batery is horrible and icant figure out why.

im very familiar with the secrets of battery saving but lately .. ever since the installing of WiMax Notifier my battery has been going much faster.. like today i took the day off from work and unplugged my phone at 909 and at about 230 i had 25 percent left and had a full charge i had to turn off sync automattically to conserve battery..

this phone is weird some days the battery isnt a issue and other days its become like horrible wtf?

I am getting a couple of force closes a week with Wiman Notifier.
I also am in the same spot as the OP, some days i get good battery life others its bad. Now i can say that my phone has been set up the way i like it for a while and am not installing new software much. In fact it was almost 2 weeks before i installed anything after wimax notifier.
Unfortunately even updating a previously installed app could also cause battery problems as an update might cause a new bug to appear in a completely differnt app.

What i have noticed is that i get the bad battery life in conjunction with the device getting sluggish. I am not going to say its directly related to wimax notifier but i do know its still in beta and have not released it to the market yet i am not going to complain. I am glad to be able to look at my device and see a blinking LED if i have a new text message. Thats a big plus for me.

If my device gets sluggish i usually power it off and back on and that tends to fix it.

I haven't noticed too much of a power drain with the WIMAX notifier, I noticed it really badly with the new HTC battery widget though. Did you download that recently?

havent downlaoded it, my battery got so bad that i took the phone off the charger 740 and by 12 i had 40 percent, and i even had to took off the 3g and lower brightness and close all my running services even from htc and android.

i had to factory reset my phone and so far the batterys been fine but i still couldnt figure out what was wrong with it before
