So a while back I saw a thread asking why so many people prefer LauncherPro over ADW, and I was surprised to see that one of the biggest reasons people liked LauncherPro was because of the 3D app drawer. Well being the mass follower that I am, I decided it must be better than I initially thought so I decided to try it out again. I used it for a week or so but just couldn't fall in love with it.

That being the case, I decided to start a thread asking if and why people like the 3d app drawer...I figure I must be missing something still.

If I can figure out how, I'll throw a poll in this thread too to see if most people actually use it or not.

One of my favorite things about LP is being able to add more rows/columns in the app drawer.

ADW can do this.

ADWSettings > Drawer Settings

There are four headings:

Drawer Columns Portrait
Drawer Rows Portrait
Drawer Columns Landscape
Drawer Rows Landscape

The great thing about about the 3d App drawer is that you can remove the apps that you dont want. You cant do this with adw.

Yes you can with ADW!

While in the Drawer:

Menu button > Choose Group > New Catalog
Give your new group a name (eg "Visible")

Menu button > Choose Group > Choose "Visible"

Menu button > Setup Group
Check items you want to show up and hit ok.

Lol... mdizzle.... that means pirated/stolen.

Ha thanks foodman. I know it was a dumb question but I basically just wanted the person who said it to own up to it a little more. I'm just not very impressed with ripping off the devs and don't find it cute or sly as the "xD" would imply the person who said it thinks.

Wholeheartedly agree. LauncherPro is a truly amazing app for which the guy asks 3 measly dollars - and even at this price point there are still idiots who refuse to support the developer.

I agree. However I dont judge the poor ;) I feel sorry for them though.

Even though this subject wasn't the reason I created this thread... I still can't help but keep this tangent going.

It is fine to be poor just like it is fine to not use LauncherPro Plus at all. We're not talking about stealing some bread to feed their starving child...they're stealing a luxury-type application for their premium priced cellphone. It's different. Judge away.

Okay, I use LP, but have never tried the 3D app Drawer. What does this do exactly?

this! it just makes it look pretty bad ass and 3D star wars sort of looking :)

If the person who developed it is making his/her living from Launcher, then I shall delete mine and pay for it. It's 3 dollars that I didn't want to spend on something I've never had/tried/etc before. Judge me if you want, I couldn't care less.

Oh and xD

I know it's dumb to keep this going...but seriously?

So lets say somebody breaks into your house and steals your...oh lets say phone. That is completely fine since it's not your main source of income?
