Before you flame, please read on to understand my bold statement!
So last night, I went to a concert at the House of Blues in Cleveland. One of my favorite bands, 30 Second to Mars, was playing. Anyways, as the concert goes on, the lead singer (Jared Leto) was looking to bring some people on stage. I got picked. I went up there, and I immediately thought, I NEED TO GET THIS ON VIDEO! I whip out my Incredible, and recorded a good 2 minutes until it happened. My phone decided to restart on its own. I started it back up as soon as I could but by the time it was loaded, they were taking us off the stage. I immediately checked my phone once off the stage to see if the video was there. It was, however, it was corrupt. F$%#$ wonderful!
The rest of the night, the stupid piece of shit restarted over and over. I had this problem before, but I restored my software to stop it. It must be bad hardware.
I'm heading to Verizon tonight and explaining how I lost it and I'm expecting them to replace my phone free of charge or I'll be VERY pissed.
I already refuse to buy another HTC product after this whole deal...
Anyways... Does anyone know of good data recovery software for corrupt files that would fix the file (says it's a 3gp file, but it may be mp4 because it wasn't done processing it) I'm hoping not all is lost!
Thanks!
