Root New cool bootloaders!!!

hey i found these cool bootloaders that work on my ally. I found a red and a blue one and a new one too! it is basically an eye freaking out fading into the the droid eye... coolness!!

blue- bluebootanimation.zip
red- redbootanimation.zip
cool eye- XeyeTeaser.zip
droid2 eye- http://www.mediafire.com/?qqt75vn76bbz85e

Place the file on the root of the sd card and rename it to something easy to type... I did XeyeTeaser.zip

Then open a terminal emulator

Type the following:

/$ su
/# cp sdcard/XeyeTeaser.zip /data/local/bootanimation.zip
/# reboot

enjoy

-you can replace XeyeTeaser.zip with any of the custom animations

Most boot images contain critical kernel information. I would not recommend doing this over a custom rom with a custom kernel or a custom kernal in general.

wow your an DELETED BY MODERATOR.... ive already tried it on velocity .3 with turbo4 oc and it works just fine. these boot images do not change your kernel. you should try it before you make a comment like that. anyway you do not flash this file. it is installed via terminal. if you dont believe me ill post a video of my ally doin it

No need for name calling. I've talked to trident about changing boot images in velocity and he said it would mess with some things that could possibly leave you with an force close loop.

I was just passimg along that information. No need to be childish.

Its not me flaming just relaying imformation that had been given to me. Im not sure why you are upset, you didn't even make this.

Did you get permission from the person who made this to post it here? A lot of the devs on that forum are sticklers about their work and will threaten legal action.

lol you joined a month before me lol anyway i stated that i found it, i didnt create it. im sorry if i offended you with custom bootloaders. if you dont like them dont them. personally i did not know if this would work being it was written for a android 2.1 droid. i tested it and liked it so i figured i should share it. its only a bootloader. truce?
