Help USB port possible broke?

I think I broke the USB/Charging port on my Vibrant. I purchased it from ebay so I assume my carrier offers no warranty. The phone will charge, and sometimes will recognize on the computer(correct drivers are installed), but not long enough to even transfer files to my microSD.

I've pretty much confirmed that it is broke as my other Vibrant does connect just fine on all 3 computers, so my question is, does anyone know a place to get something like this repaired? Is it possible?

There's a chance that the USB control chip is fused to the motherboard, in which case you will have to replace the entire motherboard, which is probably the most expensive piece of equipment on your phone...

Thats kind of what I was thinking, but I cant find much info from google or here about repair services. Was hoping someone around would know a little bit about it.
