Help Re-enabling GPRS

Hi all,

When I first bought my Samsung Galaxy S, I shut down everything 3G related as my internet bundle didn't kick in until this week. Now I can't seem to switch 3G access back on.

I've downloaded APNdroid, but I've clearly left something crucial switched off as 3G still not working. Can anyone help? The instruction manual isn't very useful.

Apparently, android provides no way to directly turn off GPRS, big oops if you ask me. Install APNDroid, it turns off GPRS by altering your APN settings with some text, thereby invalidating them. Only trouble I've seen is that sometimes GPRS does not get activated, even if you turn it back on using APNDroid. Restarting the phone fixes this.

I am clearly some kind of idiot genius, then. Tried using APNdroid first, but no joy. Resorted to factory settings reset and all is well now. APNdroid is really helpful now I've got GPRS working again!
