Love it! After my first day of using it I'm happy to report it works great. No force closes on anything besides Engadget app, great battery life, still runs super fast. On BFS 5 I
m getting these results for battery. My only gripe is that the removestatusicon flash results in a system crash

wow, thats the best battery life i've seen. I get about 20 hours with 1:30 awake time using Virtuous. Thats crazy. What theme is that?

Alright, thats what i'm using on Virtuous right now.

Just posting some more fabulous results of this rom. This is all with:
Stock battery
Automatic Brightness
Wifi
Always on Data off
BFS 5 Kernel
Minimum clock when screen off, maximum when on

Activites:
xScope
Angry Birds
Music
Texting
Calls

You shut your data connection off though, that will add battery life over leaving data run all the time which most people do. So i would attribute most of the great battery life to that fact over the ROM itself

But airplane mode wasnt on, just the background stuff. I'm definitely getting better battery than with other roms regardless though

airplane mode has nothing to do with it. the "always on mobile data" does. that shuts the data service off after the phone sleeps for a time period

Great battery life?

That is unheard of battery life and on the stock 1300mah. 11 hours awake time with 41% left. How is this possible I'm don't claim your embellishing just want to know your secrets

Same here. Crazy battery life. With auto brightness. I have mine basically all the way down. Pain in the butt to text out doors.

Are there any major bugs with this release, such as with GPS/Bluetooth, etc? I also heard there were issues with MMS not working? I'm really wanting to try this one, but I'd prefer to wait for those to be working before I give it a shot.

well I thought this was gonna be the one,bugs found useing kings kernal wifi tether doesnt work pda.net works once in a while other than that quadrants at 1450 blazing fast hopefully those other things can be fixed?? thanks for a super fast rom,

I heard WiFi tethering doesn't work on any rom when using Kings Kernel. Maybe someone else can verify.

Which Kings kernel are you referring to I am using BFS#5 currently, but have been able to tether with all of King's kernels that I have run, though I haven't tried this ROM yet.

#5, same as you. first time i've run it. didnt try tethering before i got it though.

i miss Desire Z's tether, it just used the WiFi HotSpot and i've never had trouble with it.

i downloaded that theme and it destroyed my battery life. the "sync" icon in my notification bar was always there, even when i had all sync turned off. And according to watchdog, Android System was using 99.9% of my CPU ALL THE TIME. I batter used to be at around 75% by the time I got to work (I work 3rd shift) With this theme it was 25-30%.

lol, its a black and red theme. It should improve battery life since the colors are dark. Maybe you had a live wallpaper or something. My battery life is pretty good with this theme.

Dont really care if it tests # 1 in quadrant but 2nd 0r 3rd with (good-great) battery life would be awesome.

The link in the OP is not bad, I just checked it. It is a link to the XDA Forum thread where it can be downloaded. You may have to create an account on XDA to be allowed to download from there.

EDIT: OK, I checked the link there and it seems to be on a free public download server that limits the amount of traffic that can go at a given time and it is maxed right now.
