BB Storm to Android (Incredible or Fascinate)

So, i will officially be making the move to an Android from the Storm in Dec., my upgrade month. I am completely fed up with the many issues I have had w/ my Storm since i got it back in '09. What are the differences between the Fasciante and the Incredible. And if anyone has used both which did you prefer? Also, should I just wait to see what will be the next launched Androide in Nov? Help!!!!

In my honest opinion HTC and Motorola are definitely the best Android phone makers right now, not to say that Samsung isn't.

I would personally grab the Incredible, sure the 3.5 inch screen is a little on the small side for me. But it makes up for it with that 1 GHz beast of a processor it has along with HTC Sense UI.

I'm also going to leave the Storm 1 after 2 years. NE2 comes around Nov 11. Looks like November is bring several new phones to Verizon. It's so close you might want to wait and see what's released (at least that's what I'm doing) before you decide.

If you want the device with the best specs, go for the Fascinate. You'll get the best 3D performance since it's equipped with the PowerVR SGX540 which is much more powerful than the Incredible's underpowered Adreno 200.

Any short coming that the Fascinate has right now is due to it still being on 2.1. The Galaxy S i9000 already got the official update to 2.2, so it shouldn't be too long before the rest of us get it too.

Of course, it would be understandable if you feel that Samsung is too slow, but I think it is worth the wait.

What others prefer doesn't really matter unless their preferences happen to jive with your own. What do you specifically need/want?

yeah i would decide in december based on what is out. there are usually a big launch or two or at least a roadmap to what january holds.

i have both the incredible and fascinate (and had the dx). If the choice comes down to the two of them then you have to decide what you are really looking for.

if you are not a root/rom person than you may prefer the incredible as it is more polished out of the box. (even if you are theres a lot out for the incredible) but remember the incredible will be 8 months old by december and thats long in smartphone time.

the fascinate is very portable and has great battery life. many of us LOVE the samoled screen, some dont...sadly it still on 2.1 at the moment, but id have to imagine by december will on 2.2. without a lag-fix it can be a tad..laggy, but runs great with custom kernels. gaming is much, much better on the sf as well.

Personally I think the biggest difference between the two is a physical keyboard. Do you want a physical keyboard?

After Black Friday I'm suspecting that there'll be new Android phones on the market. Exactly what I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure they'll be there...
