New user, having problems dowloading from market

Just introducing myself as a new android User!

Just bought myself A HTC Wildfire, it's worked a dream for the first week, but am now having problems downloading apps from the market, I keep getting "download unsuccessful" notifications, so I'm looking for answers on this great looking forum!

Any help is much appreciated!

Welcome to the Android Forums!

Try doing a soft reset on the phone. When I've had difficulty with downloading from the market this seems to help me resolve the problem.

I too am a new android user with a new hct Wildfire, and I am also getting "download unsuccessful" notifications, even with my wifi on. It doesn't happen all the time but it is becoming more tiresome. I did a soft and a hard reset which didn't seem to resolve the issue. Also can't seem to make the Wildfire connect to my pc, it keeps saying that htc Sync isn't installed on the pc, but it is.

That may need a seperate post me thinks.

Hi,

as a new android user I buoght a 7 inch tablet with android 1.6 but as the title says, I have problems with market.

When i Download an applet the download starts but doesn't go any further. I attached a picture to explain this.

I already did a factory reset through settings-sd card & internal storage - factory data reset. this had no succes

I can surf the web, check mail so the wifi is OK

I don't get the arrows on top which say there is a download.

Can any one propose me a solution?

I hope I can resolve this problem because I like the Android system very much. But if you can't use market you lose a lot of fun
