HI all.

I am at last coming across some nice polished looking games. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great games but as mentioned before, there aren't many that have that polished iPhone look but I think the following do

Angry birds
Leave devil alone
Tiki towers

What other games have that professional dev look about them?

Did you buy "Leave devil alone"? I'd really like PvZ and this clone looks good enuff to entertain me for a few days... But the in game PayPal mechanism scares the shit out of me...

I bought it. It must use internet for authentication - after the purchase I was able to immediately use it as full version game without needing any patch or update. Worked like a charm, for whatever it is worth. Game was worth the money IMHO - challenging to the end; loved it.

I played it till the last level, and lost. Then when i started the game up it restarted me at the first level again but kept all my money, magic, cards i had already bought and upgraded. Did that happen to you?

Well i just noticed they have a HD verison in the market which you can use Google for.

star wars cantina? sounds interesting. Not on market though

To be honest, I'm not sure where you can get ahold of the game, either. Star Wars: Cantina and Chop Sushi are both THQ Wireless games, but if you check out their website you'll find the website looking pretty dead. I only got the games through somewhat, uh, dubious ways ifyouknowhatImean. It's got to be available somewhere, though. Perhaps Getjar?

Any app with ads in it doesn't feel completely polished IMO. For the games I really like I would easily pay $1 to remove the stupid ads!

When playing CPU intensive games, there is a noticeable slowdown when the ad changes.
